Lynx has questionable morals, he seems uncaring about most of reality's contents and easily distracted from serious events. He seems generally unintelligent and unwilling to learn and this is reflected in his decisions and everyday life. Lynx busies himself with an endless stream of stimuli, constantly moving and getting stir crazy within minutes of being at a location, this is something that is accomodated by the vast amount of easily accessible locations within Mutta Hotel.

If you asked me, I would diagnose him with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, to an extreme degree, although I have not attempted to medicate him as Mr.Cierge seems capable of managing the symtoms and has expressed to me that getting Lynx to take a pill is 'as difficult as medicating a real lynx'. I would also diagnose Lynx with a form of antisocial personality disorder or perhaps some form of mania, he has a tendancy to enter episodes that cause him to be easily provoked into violence against others, often ending lethally, this also manifests as a consistant effort to enter spaces not typically allowed. Lynx has broken into buildings, climbed roofs and lived in illegal encampments for most of his life, in my opinion this is driven by his early childhood upbringing where this behaviour was not shunned.

During these episodes of mania, Lynx has commited murder, he does not recognise this as it seems Lynx is mentally unable to process the true enviroment of the hotel. Upon seeing those who have mutated features, he manages to logic them into something that would be possible without said mutations, even to extreme degrees as processing large fully mutated guests as smaller, simple, normal animals. Even when things are directally pointed out to him, he cannot understand nor internalise what he is seeing, and these episodes of violence lead him to killing things that he does not even percieve as alive. (Edit: These episodes are triggered by other actions, most of it is due to someone grabbing him and restricting him when he is focused on work. -Con)

Lynx also has an extreme fear of the dark, unable to look into even a black painted box before causing extreme upset. When faced with an enviroment complete devoid of light, where the night vision goggles he persistantly wears (even to the point of degrading his eye sight) cannot be useful, he entirely shuts down. Mr.Cierge recollects a time that he had to drag Lynx from an enviroment as descibed and the man was unresponsive and crying for hours until eventually calming down. Despite this level of fear, Lynx is unable to or unwilling to adress it. (Edit: He is able to, but only when not in an over-stimulated state. -Con)

I would use the above mentioned phobia as an explanation of Lynx's chronic and severe insomnia. Lynx, himself, recounts times where he has been awake for periods far exceeding 72 hours or going weeks with very little rest. He struggles falling asleep if he isnt exhausted, something I attribute to the fact that to close his eyes would mean he would be in the dark, meaning he must be regularly tired out during the day if he is to sleep a healthy amount at night. Mr.Cierge states that he has found methods of consistantly achiveing this and Lynx no longer regularly exceeds healthy limits of wake time, although I can only assume the damage is already done by his past episodes.

Lynx carries extreme impulsivity, often darting around to do whatever thought has popped into his head before he has even processed it, but he is also easily expressive and will talk about what he is doing in detail ( though it will be distored though his deluded world view ). He does not seem to carry anxieties other than the well-being and location of Mr.Cierge, despite him having an unnatural ability to tell where his codependancy is located at all times- detailed later in this report.

To note, Lynx is also extremely competitive, adding a timer to everything or consistently asking how others performed. This may of skewed the results of his physical health exams as he was trying to beat other peoples results- something that is not desired when I am trying to get a baseline of general well being. This also drives him in his other activites, but is often utilized to motivate him to be more effective in the work place. (Edit: He can complete mapping a medium sized floor faster than the previous most effective mapper, he is now used as a baseline for new hires. -Con)

Overall Lynx is a deluded and reality detatched man, despite that he is happy and easily entertained. His needs are met by Mr.Cierge and his wants are easily fulfullied by his own actions. Lynx does seek an exit to the hotel, although he does not seem to be distressed by the idea of staying.
